Not Aqua, but Mojito

When I think of Aqua, or in the finer Italian spelling with C = Acqua, I imagine either a fragrance with a refreshing watery impression,
or that Aqua = Acqua stands for the lightness, freshness, and/or volatility of a cologne.

However, none of this applies to the "beautiful water" here. They may have left out the C to emphasize a certain simplicity, as the fragrance belongs to a low price segment.

If I didn’t know this, it could be presented to me under the pretense of being from a significantly more expensive league: I would take it at face value.

At first, I smell a non-acidic lemon that soon pairs with a bit of mint, without any toothpaste touch.

I perceive jasmine as a secondary note; it quickly becomes sweet with a hint of pepper. The brown sugar from the base comes to the fore quickly and plays together with the cedar and the still-present top notes to create the melody.

Mojito - similar, what can I say? I really like the whole thing!
There is a resemblance to Armani's "Acqua di Gioia." However, I currently do not have a sample of the latter on hand to test side by side.

"Aqua Bella" pleases me very much; it is fresh - sweet - woody, does not smell cheap, and lasts well.

refreshing summer everyday scent

Once again, this is a quite successful dupe of a well-known fragrance.
I cannot agree that Aqua Bella smells synthetic. I find it very fruity-refreshing and natural. In reality, after yesterday's comparison with the original, I could hardly detect any difference, especially in the opening.

Mint and lemon are initially very refreshing, but like all such aquatic scents, they fade quite quickly.
The heart note becomes floral-fresh and remains perceptible to me for about an hour, but very close to the skin. On clothing and hair, it lasts even a few hours longer.
From the base, I personally only pick up very faint notes; however, a slightly woody sweetness is quite pleasantly noticeable.

My conclusion about this scent is:
a quite good perfume that works very well for hot days like these. I've already received some compliments on it. It smells nice and very refreshing.
It's not something very special, but especially for the price, it's definitely wearable.
In contrast to the original scent, I also noticed during the comparison sniffing that I much prefer the light finish of this lovely little water over that of Armani.
The original scent does last clearly longer, but it quickly leaves a very biting and strongly woody trail, which I definitely do not want in a summer fragrance. That must be the cedar combined with labdanum.
I'd rather add more lemon-mint.
In this regard, I would clearly prefer this scent over the original, both in terms of fragrance and price.

The Thing with Dupes....

...is just not my thing.

Last year in the middle of summer, I had to realize that my large bottle of Acqua di Gioia was almost empty.
Actually, I would have liked to buy a new bottle, but somehow I didn't want to spend that much money at that moment. So I researched suitable dupes online. In several articles, Aqua Bella was touted as a 1:1 copy. So I ordered it right away. You can't go wrong for the price.

Immediately after spraying, it smells nice and fresh and aquatic.... Unfortunately, it quickly transforms on my skin into a lemon cleaner scent. And I believe that very few people want to smell like a bathroom. :( This note lingers and develops into something sharp and later musty for me. The base note unfortunately doesn't really come through for me, no trace of brown sugar. The cedar wood is also hiding from me.
It smells to me as if I sprayed the original... but a diluted version.
At least that's how it develops on my skin.
The longevity is not particularly high. I can only perceive it for a maximum of two to three hours.

The bottle is quite simple and doesn't look particularly high-quality. But I don't expect that from La Rive either.

I wanted to like it, but I'd rather reach for the original.
For the low price, it's not necessarily a bad scent for a tight budget, and it will find its admirers.... I've already noticed in the other comments that many people like it. :) Perfume is indeed very subjective.
I will probably still spray it occasionally at work in the summer. A lemony refreshment can sometimes be quite nice.

But I'm still on the lookout for an aquatic scent for summer. Maybe someone has a completely different recommendation?

I finally came across it in stores today (also at Kaufland).
In my opinion, it doesn't resemble Acqua di Gioja much, as it smells not naturally citrusy but rather synthetically aquatic-fruity at the start, and then becomes somewhat gum-like. It's still quite pleasant despite the artificiality; later, the slight sweetness disappears, and it only smells hmm, artificially fresh, possibly with a hint of cedarwood coming through.
No trace of a finish of brown sugar.

Bottle unfortunately cheap

I was a bit disappointed right from the unboxing, as the bottle, unlike my other la Rives, looks like plastic at first glance and is even damaged. But for this low price, it is absolutely suitable for everyday use on hotter days. So place it on the wardrobe shelf in a way that the damaged spot is not visible and refresh yourself a bit before going shopping.
