There was something - or: H-Cream Reincarnation

Mild and sweet is the opening. Very accommodating. During the first hour, I imagine that something fruity is shining through, a cocktail cherry comes to mind.

But that was just the overture. Unfortunately. After an hour, a strange mix has formed. Firstly: amber; secondly: the scent of freshly brewed and completely non-bitter Darjeeling; thirdly: the dusty-sweet aura that hovers over a pot of rock candy. So far, so (very) good. If it weren't for - yuck - condensed milk with its underlying sticky sweetness. Was there something? I am reminded of my experiences with Cuir Blanc and Bois Secret by Evody. In those, I also sensed a kind of milk - could also be H-whipped cream - that I couldn't handle at all.

In the second and third hours, however, the sugary note takes command. At this point, I want to be grateful for that. Afterward, the situation gradually shifts towards the base, and by the fifth hour, a rather conventional amber-vanilla blend is on top. In the seventh hour, the scent is practically gone, leaving only a vanilla-caramel note on the skin for a few more hours, like cream-cow-cows. This is the most pleasant part of the fragrance for me, yet Ambra e Zafferano does not blow me away overall. So let’s keep it short this time. The end.

I thank Ergreifend for the generous sample.

Creamy scents aren't really my thing, so I guess this fragrance won't be for me either.

Personally, I would have been fine with just the Muh-Muhs, but for eating. It's a bit much.

I'm not into *milky* scents either; I prefer to drink them - ice cold :o)

I really like it. Unfortunately, I can't get it at the moment.

As long as the milk isn't too fatty and/or sour (like with Musc Maori on me), I actually find it quite nice. I still have a sample of that *stuff* somewhere.

Condensed milk? Luckily, I didn't have that. I actually quite like it and would even repurchase it if it weren't for that hideous plastic bottle.

For me, the best saffron scent under 7 euros that you can get. I use it as a luxury deodorant - simply wonderful in winter!

This scent in a Boadi bottle would be trendy for some again :-)
It's perfect for a spritz on your scarf in this dreary weather.

Even though it's affordable, it wasn't worth more than 30% to me. Everything you described is true, but it's "totally plastic," Trophy+.

So nothing special. But better than some of the overpriced ones in the amber category. 🏆
