Tiaré delle Indie Tesori d'Oriente 2013

Neither x-ter Monoi scent nor fragrance twin - good so!
As seems to happen often with Tesori, it smells a bit different than what one would expect from the name.
Tiaré is on the label and is indeed present, but not exclusively.
According to the ingredient list, the fragrance contains real Tiaré extract. But this is not one of the usual Tiaré Monoi scents.
I also distinctly smell a mix of orange blossom, orange, and citrus, along with a jasmine note that leans towards jasmine tea, with that typical astringent green edge. Overall, it is quite a robust floral wall, but at the same time fresh, and in general, I find the scent balanced, not too heavy or sticky, and also not too soapy, clean, or chaotic.
Ylang and Tiaré give the fragrance a slightly more tropical feel, but they do not dominate it.
Elie Saab Le Parfum is listed as a fragrance twin here, and there are indeed some similarities up to that point.
However, the sweet honey note from Le Parfum is not present here.
Instead, there is an accord that reminds me a bit of Loulou, though not quite as spicy. I usually dislike many scents with a sweet musky base, but this combination is one of the exceptions. Perhaps it is also because the floral jasmine tea freshness from the beginning lasts even after hours, preventing the scent from becoming stuffy. It actually works in summer too (but then in the evening).
This was my second blind purchase from Tesori, and it was absolutely worth it.
I wasn't looking for a "dupe," but was expecting something from a similar direction, and that is indeed the case.
There is nothing to complain about regarding longevity and sillage, but I'm not too thrilled about the dented aluminum bottle. However, one must save somewhere when selling perfumes for 4.50.

I've been thinking the whole time about which scent from the 80s it reminds me of... and you're absolutely right! It's a pleasant and toned-down version of **Loulou**!
