Afghanistan Orange Blossom The 7 Virtues
Very helpful Review
This is how I imagine Afghanistan...
"Actually," there is a beautiful story behind the brand. The Canadian founder, Barb Stegemann, was inspired by her best friend, who was stationed as a soldier in Afghanistan and was injured while trying to protect children and women. While he was recovering, she took on his mission to protect young girls from illegal trafficking, while trying to find legal ways to trade orange blossoms and essential oils....
About the scent: This is how I imagine Afghanistan: dusty and dry, people marked by war yet full of warmth, as seen in Persian and Arab culture. People who can give and teach you a lot.
For me, the orange blossom is clearly perceptible, with a slight dry bitterness that almost disappears as time goes on and then rather hides in the background. It's actually a simple scent, but the jasmine gives it more depth and better longevity.
I would say it doesn't radiate much. But that's not what this scent is about, at least not for me.
Definitely worth a try (I believe it's in the reissue of the "Orange Blossom"?) if you are open to other cultures.
