Eccentric...

….but good! Thanks to Kitty (thank you so much again), I had the opportunity to test my first Tom Ford…
First off: I don’t know the regular Black Orchid! :)
Lately, I’ve been very interested in Tom Ford fragrances, even though I somehow had the feeling that I wouldn’t buy one… :)
But trying is known to be better than studying…

Voile de Fleur hits me like a bomb with the first drop…
Kaboom: A colorful mix of what feels like 1000 different ingredients, which really overwhelms my nose…
I smell the Ylang Ylang very strongly, black truffle? Not at all, and the bergamot is quite limited…
I find the top note is very unisex for me, but that changes relatively quickly.

You can tell that the tuberose forms the common thread and runs through all the notes. The fragrance is rounded off by a very nice vanilla and cinnamon scent….
I took a lot of time to let this fragrance work on me and to analyze the individual notes, but somehow I didn’t really get any clearer as just too many different notes were bombarding me :)

However, I find it very harmonious overall, but for a woman under 30, which I still am, it is absolutely not wearable.
I imagine it on a woman aged 35 to 100, a sensual woman with a bit more life experience who knows where her path leads :)

Nice comment, and I totally agree that this isn't a scent for very young women. It would be like a 14-year-old singing "Ain't Nobody" by Chaka Khan!!
