A library in the air

I discovered this fragrance by sample in 2019.

It smells like a library with a lot of books and dust.it reminds me the room with the ulema in saoudia arabia.

It s not my kind of fragrances,a really flop for a perfume which coasts 300€ for 100ml.to smell wood and dust?just a joke ,a flop,surrestimated.

Submerged cederwood log

This Bois Marocain caught me off guard. I started with santal blush, but needed something a little stronger. Ebene Fume is a bit too much for my taste. This Bois Marocain smells to me like a submerged cedarwood log in steamy hot water. It's very resinous and woody, yet somehow strangely aquatic. Not a blue aquatic, but more of a damp, mossy, woody aquatic. Love this scent. My favorite of the enigmatic woods

Sillage: the first hour or so is incredible. You feel like your encased in this resinous sphere. After about 2 hrs, the spillage dies down and sits closer to the skin

Projection: almost the same as the sillage. You get a powerful projection for about 1-2 hours. Then it becomes more intimate

Longevity: I get about 6 hrs on my skin before it disappears. If you want more, you'd have to spray your clothing. I've had the scent last 2 days on a cardigan of mine.

Scent: this is one of the most unique fragrances I've ever known. It isn't supposed to be aquatic, being that it has no aquatic notes, but it's there. It's in my opinion the best out of the 3 enigmatic woods.

A discontinued jewel of dry Cedarwood & Incense...

This is a wonderful incense fragrance. Pine-like (an authentic Moroccan cedarwood note). Followed by dark green Cypress and incredibly authentic smoky incense. Without a doubt one of the best incense fragrances I've tried. I find it very dark and deep and resinous. A hint of pink pepper with the dry cedar and vetiver, combined with the incense makes it a wonderful creation. I am impressed with this one. Very dark, can be worn by men or women although I find the incense & cedar combination very dry and masculine to my nose. It's a real shame they discontinued this, and even Tom Ford mentioned it was one of his favourites from the Private Blend line (this was discontinued due to poor sales). I would welcome a re-release of this. It smells very different to other mainstream releases, has one of the best incense notes, and will be truly missed. A fantastic cedarwood & incense gem.
