Old Wine in Niche Bottles

Even though my headline suggests another negative review, that is not the case!

Okay, I do have a bit of criticism, but the scent comes across quite well for me, and before I delve into the critical remarks, I want to first express the positive aspects of the fragrance.

OH±Denim is, in my opinion, a really well-composed, monothematic tuberose scent. The tuberose is present, has endurance, but never drifts into the narcotic or cloying territory.
The fragrance has a good presence and corresponding longevity, so far so good.

Now I come to the but!

The clinically trendy niche brand presentation, in my opinion, does not fit at all with this, what I consider, 70s American floral scent (it totally reminds me of Anne Klein), and I have to think of just about everything else, but not jeans. A suit and blouse seem to me to be a better fit, and I don’t really find such an outfit particularly niche.

OH±Denim is listed as a unisex fragrance, but I can imagine that most men will probably struggle with such a hefty floral perfume. Although I like the scent, it does come off as a bit too feminine for me, and honestly, it also bores me a little, but it’s not bad.

Yes, the pyramid looks classic and elegant, even though it’s not really a pyramid at all - and based on the scent notes, I wouldn't associate the fragrance with jeans. But that’s probably not a big deal.

At least it's a small consolation for you after the compression stocking debacle ;o)

That's just it. The scent has been around so many times. And the connection to denim fabric remains a mystery.

I'll stick with my old Lauder and Lutens tuberoses; they make me happy, whether I'm naked or in sweatpants.

Tuberose, with jeans, a suit, or a dress: HEAVEN HELP.

I kind of feel the same way. Nothing new, just tuberose with a bit of extra, not bad but not great, not a must-have.

I’m missing the context from afar as well.

Well, it's more pleasant than compression stockings. At least!
