Musky, fruity, floral, balsamic, woody & oudy!
This an almost fresh and crisp fruity and floral accord laying on a frame of warm and sensual musky,woody notes, with oudy and balsamic facets.
It starts by resembling like a feminine only perfume with the sweet citrus pear and stirax,
Rapidly becomes an unisex fragrance during the heart stage. Despite some florals, an enchanting jasmine in particular, a behaved peaceful balsamic oud pushes the fragrance to a more unisex aroma. The bottom is all about the residual oud and labdanum framing strong woody notes of sandalwood, seazoned by musk and patchouli. It's a smooth, sweet, woody, semi animalic & earthy musky scent with a touch of smoke, that is revealed during the pleasuring drydown.
Performance is average and the presentation is atrocious. Value for money is somewhere in the Himalayas, meaning of course that it is quite high. For less than 10 Euros the 100ml bottle, please do give it a try. It is a very fun perfume to wear and to surprise other people. It will just not please fresh & green scents addicts.
How may I rate this Oriental Rubi?

- Average:.........7.66/10.0 (8.0 without the presentation mark)
between 7 and 8 => above average;
between 8 and 9 => recommended;
equal or bigger than 9 => don't miss it;
Opinion about Varens d'Orient Rubis:
Do you want to smell expensive, but inexpensively? The answer may be this fragrance and possibly some other UDV fragrances. Use it in colder weather, almost everywhere, but carry a decant for respraying.
Recommended? Yes, due to its features and low price.
Blind buy worthy? Yes, as certainly you don't have any other way to buy it unless a friend of yours purchased it before you..
