Spicy Road Une Nuit Nomade 2026

I knew straight up it wouldn't be my kind of fragrance after seeing the notes on Parfumo, but I got offered a free sample so why not?

Dry spices at the start with a lovely peppery note and cloves. It has elegance, warmth and refinement. Soon starts to morph into a smoky incense, paired with a sweet, but well-contained, vanilla. It's soft, cozy, but also has that refinement and elegance Une Nuit Nomade is known for. It slowly starts to add some woodiness and as the vanilla recedes a bit, the incense and the woods become a bit stronger. It's spicy and dark, without being too much. What I enjoyed here is the fact that the scent is not to overpowering. It sits on your skin and radiates without ever feeling over-bearing and in-your-face.

I'm still not a fan of smoky fragrances and strong woody notes, so this one won't be making it into my collection, but I'm still glad I got to try a new release (free at that!).

Debuting with a solid but yet sublime pepper note is not something that I have imagined when reading the ingredients list. However, the pepper wants you to linger and stay for more.

The incense smell comes as a swift follow-through on the pepper, not overly powering, just enough to light-up the senses.

You managed to make this a nice evening wear, with the splash of woody smells, which persist in the room long after I've left it.

Spicy Road exudes elegance and is something that I would wear on a formal evening, like a gala or opera visit with my suit on :)

For me, Une Nuit Nomade definitely belongs to the best perfume brands on the market, and with Spicy Road, they have once again proven why that is!

From the very first sniff, I was immediately captivated by the character of the scent. The spices are beautifully balanced and give the fragrance a warm, cozy depth. This is complemented by a gentle vanilla note that adds an extra sense of homeliness to the perfume. At the same time, pepper and smoke provide a fitting contrast that lifts the scent out of pure comfort and adds depth to it. Over time, the woody notes come to the forefront more strongly and round off the overall impression to create a coherent, harmonious effect.

The longevity and sillage are also impressive; with 3-4 sprays, the scent is present all day long. In fact, I even received a compliment for the perfume on my first wear.

For my nose, Spicy Road is also a true unisex perfume that can be worn equally by both genders.

I can definitely understand the comparison to Sugar Leather; for me, the spicy base is similar to vanilla, but Spicy Road is the more mature, subtly masculine version.

Overall, a very strong new release, just as one expects from this brand!
