Valentina's big sister
~ Inspiration ~
"Valentina" had worked really well for me in the fall a few years ago, and for winter I wanted this assoluto version.
~ Flacon ~
The familiar shape of the "Valentina's" has been retained here as well. The bottle comes in a noble rosé. My 50ml version has a matte, large rose in front.
~ Scent
It starts off a little more quaffable than "Valentina" right away. The strawberry has been replaced by peach, and the chewy tuberose continues to set the tone. Vanilla has been replaced by patchouli.
~ Durability ~
On my skin I notice it about 5 hrs. On clothes and hair longer.
I find it develops most beautifully on cold days in autumn and winter.
~ Conclusion ~
I am now annoyed at both variants the chewy tuberose.
In direct comparison to "Valtentina" I do not recognize a big difference. It seems perhaps a little more adult, quasi like a big sister. Who with "Valentina" already did not get along, will have with this Assoluto variant, however, also its problems...
