You can't always love everything.
What applies to life in general is no exception here.
It's high time for my first negative review.
And I'll keep it brief this time, because I'd much rather spend my valuable time writing about fragrances that I like or at least find interesting.
Sogno in rosso is above all one thing: sweet and artificial. A huge block of synthetic sandalwood topped with milk foam and an extra dose of vanilla sugar. Period. No incense, no amber accord. The fragrance pyramid is a shameless lie.
And please don't tell me that this sugary sandalwood latte nonsense has anything to do with "L'Eau Papier (Eau de Toilette) | Diptyque." It doesn't.
In comparison with
Blanche Bête: I haven't had that one under my nose yet, but if the white beast smells like this nightmare in red, then I don't even want to try it.
Longevity: as a synthetic monster, it behaves like the others of its kind. The longevity is bombastic. It clings to me like tar, 12 hours or more, attempts to wash it off are pointless.
Sillage: room-filling, or as they say in influencer speak, Beast Mode.
Bottle: a matter of taste. At least the color of the liquid is great.
Those who like it synthetic and sweet will enjoy this one.
The price being asked is, for what it is, certainly outrageous.
