Lovely in every way

This is a green citrus masterpiece in my opinion. It’s soft, not sour or bitter like most citrus based perfumes I’ve tried. It’s a happy, juicy perfume that could be worn anytime, but preferably in warmer areas or in the summer.

When I wear this perfume I can’t stop smelling my wrists. I hope I don’t over spray, as I love it that much, and I only bought 8 ml.

Top notes melt into middle with gorgeous lemon and orange, slight cypress. The end is just as lovely with more sweet orange and/or neroli, dying down as the day goes.

I’d imagine Heaven smells like this.

Sillage and longevity is average, about 4-5 hours. I wish it was longer lasting, but I’m happy to respray!

It’s now on my full bottle wish list!

Interesting scent journey / evolution

On first spray, I get a sharp lemon-neroli musk that disappoints me. But after about 20 minutes, the pink pepper emerges and it becomes a lemon candy. The cypress emerges throughout the rest of the 6-7 hours and the scent almost becomes tropical. Perfect and fun summer scent. By this point, it is extremely gorgeous and surprised me! I'm glad I got a 10 ml decant and I'll be debating on whether I'll get a full bottle at some point in the future. I already own a few citrus-neroli scents like Penhaligon's Castile and Diptyque's L'eau de Neroli but this is the most interesting one of them all.

My go to summer scent

This is a twist on fleur narcotique by the same perfumer, Quentin Bisch, who delivered an even better version of the original - unisex with a silvery, diamond like opening that makes it my most favorite summer fragrance since 2 years to date. After the opening it goes into a clean floral heart that is slightly vibrant (think feathers in the wind over a slightly milky musk). BITTER HEAVEN

The best neroli around, elegant, and bitter (as all perfumes with this note should be).
It's distant and icy at first; it takes a while to get used to it. It has a brief phase where it's the best wedding perfume. Once you understand it, it becomes heaven.
The pear note is subtle but serves to round the smell and to give a slightly metallic feel
If you smell it on someone, befriend it, you can trust that person.

Considering the note, it also performs more than well.

I’ve recently found myself testing newer fragrances and I then end up smelling something that is a bit older that shares very similar DNAs. In true Bisch fashion, Amara is very similar to fragrances such as Valaya and Fleur Narcotique. They have a very prominent orange blossom that leans a bit more stem-like/fruity as opposed to the actual flower. But Amara is super orangey to me almost like Levant, with just a fluffy cleanliness that works really well for hot summer days.

Valaya is my favorite perfume ever so Amara was a pleasant scent to test, but the latter is flatter, getting a little too close to the white floral that I don’t like, and airier. This is a very lovely perfume, I just don’t need it in my collection.
