Where to start...
The first thing to mention to someone who knows nothing of this fragrance, or perfume in general: this is not your everyday, drugstore fragrance. Narcos'is, in my opinion, stands in a category of its own even among some niche fragrances.
Vertus really created a masterpiece of a sweet, spicy and mysterious scent, that dries down so nicely with an amazing opening. The mango and peach notes really set it apart as they aren't used so often and the coffee, rhubarb and cardamom opening make for a very interesting combination. Overall, the scent you get from Narcos'is will absolutely make people wonder what you're wearing.
It is pricey, yes, but for the money you pay, you receive a worthy item. I always compare fragrances to food when speaking to someone that doesn't know that much about them: if you pay for a $500 meal, that meal better be the best you've ever had. Personally, I find that certain $500 'meals', *cough* Aventus *cough* just don't give you what you payed for.
I can, however, say with absolute confidence, that Narcos'is by the house of Vertus not only delivers for its price range, but overperforms what you pay for.
