Just another caramel scent

Another caramel scent, how many of these do houses want to make and will they really find buyers for all of them? This has been done so many times.

The scent opens with caramel, it continues with caramel and it ends with caramel. At the beginning, Cardamom brings a breath of freshness to the scent, as if a pastille freshness mixed with sweetness. However, it fades very quickly. Sandalwood supports the creaminess, the thick texture, as do the base notes. Unlike Xanat , I don't think this is an elegant or sophisticated gourmand, but just a simple toffee. If you like a scent that is clearly edible, this is for you, but I can't find it attractive, no matter how I think about it.

Anyway, the quality is not bad at all, all aromas feels very realistic and natural without any unpleasant vibes. The texture is not too thick nor sticky but there is not any kind of airiness either and the scent is extremely sweet. All I can think is that this would be beautiful on 10 year old girl but on grown up woman it would be a bit childish, tasteless and bland.

This is just my opinion and as most of you know I'm not a fan of clearly edible linear gourmands. I love some scents with caramel but there has to be some very special in them like for example Lost in Paris , Shalimar Millésime Iris , Chou Chou and Xanat which I mentioned earlier.

Your perfume is your invisible personality

With this fragrance, I start with a conclusion from ALI ALJABERI, the founder of Widian: "Your perfume is your invisible personality: It expresses your mood and reveals your secrets." And this scent is perfectly connected to that for me. It was one of those days when thoughts weighed heavily on my shoulders. Everyday life had settled like dust, invisible but palpable. I came home, placed my bag in the corner, and silently walked to the shelf where my fragrances stood. Most seemed too loud, too direct, too colorful for my mood all at once. But one bottle stood out: Yasat.

I picked it up, turned it in the light. It looked like a piece of architecture, like a small monument. Almost ceremoniously, I pressed the spray head. The first mist settled on my skin, and suddenly there was a space within me that had been closed off before.

The top notes were like a fresh gust of wind, as if someone had opened a window. For a moment, I saw again the images of my travels, foreign streets where life spun endlessly, scents of spices, wood, and unknown dishes. Memories I thought I had long forgotten returned.

The deeper the fragrance developed, the more it changed me as well. There was warmth, depth, a feeling of grounding. The woods and amber in the base seemed not only to rest on the skin but to resonate something within. I sat by the open window, looking out at the dark city. Lights flickered, and somewhere in the distance, I heard a motorcycle pass by. But within me, it had become quieter.

I thought of the many times I had worn fragrances just to be seen, to leave an impression. But Yasat was different. It spoke not from the outside, but from within. It reminded me that I didn't always have to be loud to leave a mark. Sometimes it is enough to be completely with oneself, and the world notices it anyway.

Hours passed, and the scent remained. No longer sharp and striking, but warm, almost like a second skin. I took a notebook and began to write thoughts that had long found no place. Suddenly, they flowed effortlessly, as if the fragrance had opened a door that I could not have opened myself.

When I later turned off the light, there was this feeling of clarity. Yasat had been more than a perfume-it was a mirror in which I saw not only my exterior but also my inner landscape. And that night, wrapped in its gentle echo, I fell asleep for the first time in weeks with the feeling of having arrived-not somewhere out there, but with myself.

The Scent of Lake Constance

Recently, I spent two wonderful days with one of my best friends in Constance. Since we had to change our day plan at the last minute, we spontaneously decided to take a stroll through the city. It was going to be my first time in a niche perfume store. Living in a rural area, my collection consists almost entirely of blind buys, and it was something truly special to experience and test these fragrances up close.

The first impression overwhelmed me, and I needed a brief moment to collect myself.

After testing several fragrances, we found ourselves at Widian. The "Yasat | Widian / AJ Arabia" had been on my wish list for quite some time, but I wanted to test it before purchasing, due to its similarity to "Gris Charnel (Eau de Parfum) | bdk Parfums." I didn't expect too much because, as a devoted fan of "Gris Charnel (Eau de Parfum) | bdk Parfums," I knew what to expect. So, the "Yasat | Widian / AJ Arabia" landed immediately on my wrist:

Oh my God, I never thought a fragrance with a DNA I already knew could impress me so much. The first thing that hit me was the spiciness of cardamom, soon enveloped by sweet caramel and vanilla. Sandalwood and cedar balance the sweetness perfectly, making the scent warm and sensual without being overpowering.

After finally testing this wonderful fragrance and, of course, falling head over heels in love with it, I sought advice from my friend, as I was a bit uncertain about the purchase. Normally, I don't just walk into a perfume store and take what I want. My purchases were usually made only in S00k or online, so being in a store for the first time was something very special.
In the end, she convinced me, and I bought it.

On the way back, I kept smelling my wrist with excitement and was more than happy that I had bought the fragrance right there. In retrospect, I would have been incredibly annoyed with myself if I had decided against Yasat. I have not regretted my purchase for a second.

Conclusion: A certain similarity to GC cannot be denied; however, the "Yasat | Widian / AJ Arabia" comes across as significantly sweeter due to caramel and vanilla, and the spiciness is somewhat more subdued here. The "Yasat | Widian / AJ Arabia" is, for me, an absolute feel-good fragrance, like a hug on a cold autumn day, like the warmth of a fireplace filling the room, like a sensual touch on the skin. For me, it is the perfect companion for any occasion.
Longevity and sillage are above average; I could still perceive the scent very well even after 8 hours.
For me, Yasat does not go through a particularly spectacular scent evolution; rather, it feels like a perfectly composed symphony that can land a number one hit with just a few instruments.

Yasat is the best souvenir I have ever brought home from a vacation, a fragrance that I will forever associate with memories of Lake Constance, a scent that will always bring a smile to my face and has captured my heart in a whirlwind.

My Widian Secret Tip

This fragrance is, for me, one of the most underrated scents from Widian - hardly anyone talks about it, yet it is such a gem.

Right upon spraying, a strong cardamom note dominates. It is spicy, slightly cool, and immediately present, without coming off as too sharp. After just a few minutes, the spiciness is rounded out: creamy caramel and soft sandalwood join in, giving the fragrance a warm, slightly sweet depth. This combination feels elegant, seductive, and at the same time pleasantly wearable.

In the drydown, the scent becomes almost gourmand. Amber, musk, and vanilla come to the forefront, making it softer, more sensual, and almost cuddly. The sweetness remains elegant and never sticky, which makes it versatile.

Sillage is okay to good - it stands out without filling the room, making it ideal for evenings in company. After 8-10 hours, it is still distinctly noticeable on the skin.

However, I must admit that it slightly reminds me of Gris Charnel by BDK in the opening, but in the drydown, it evolves into something unique.

All in all: A fragrance that is mentioned far too rarely and is, for me, a true secret tip - especially for long summer evenings or the transition into autumn.
