You Never Know What You’re Gonna Get
Immediately after application my wrists smell like a box of chocolate truffles and I’m confused.
It’s certainly not the floral, fruity, boozy profile I was expecting; instead, my first impression is of a straightforward dessert gourmand and I don’t quite know what to make of it.
Nearly all reviews reference a strong bourbon opening but none so much as hint at this incredibly distinct chocolatey vibe. This means it must just be a quirk of skin chemistry, but unfortunately chocolate is one of my least favourite notes so for me it’s a VERY unappealing quirk. :/
That initial impression fades a bit over time as the strawberry and broom come more to the fore, but there’s still enough chocolate that finally I can’t tolerate it any longer and wash it off.
Projection is moderate. Longevity, well, I washed it off after 3 hours so it’s at least that long. Gender is confused chocolatier.
