Pressed Flower Journal
Immediately: oof, that is some SHARP brown leather
5 min: the leather is smeared with what I swear is peanut butter and I’ve never been so bewildered in my life
10 min: the leather has chilled out considerably and the peanut butter has thankfully departed
20 min: leather, a touch of vanilla, a hint of violets, and other florals I can’t discern meander into the mix
Rest of the wear: mellow brown leather, gentle floral touches, and a little vanilla now and then
It’s like opening up an early 19th century leather bound journal of pressed flowers, and although I like it quite a lot I’m left wishing it had just a little something extra (perhaps a dark ink note?) to bring it from “enjoyable” to “special.”
Projection starts high and fades to soft, and longevity is on the low end of moderate. Gender is sentimental Regency botanist.
