Rose and Whimsy
What a pretty little scent!
There are fully bloomed red roses drizzled in slightly tart strawberry syrup, surrounded by new grass and sweet honeysuckle.
The syrupy rose dominates and the soft green comes and goes, popping back up whenever I start to think it's gone for good. I don't pick up on the advertised cinnamon cookie at all, which to be honest I'm not torn up about (not a huge fan of baked good gourmands).
If you're hunting for a hyperrealistic fragrance, look elsewhere. These are floaty fantasy versions of the notes, a little dreamy and a lot fairy garden, the sort of thing you might find in a Ida Rentoul Outhwaite illustration. It's simple and sweet and quite delightful, so lean into the whimsy and live your flower fairy dreams!
