Strawberry Shores
Very first thought: I’ve made a huge mistake.
Straight on the skin it's an explosion of candy strawberry, an automatic scrubber in my book. But I have faith in Wild Hybrid so I begrudgingly left it on to see what happened in the dry down.
I’m so glad I did.
Within half an hour the overwhelming strawberry candy faded to a soft, fresh fruit, and the fragrance completely shifted to a gorgeous beach scent: sun warmed driftwood, lightly salted water, and just enough vanilla to add a little smooth creaminess to the composition.
It’s a fantasy version of my beloved Shoreline, with shimmering white sand and scarlet-haired mermaids splashing in the shallows.
And I'm not the only one who thinks so: the other three members of my household are usually fairly critical of my perfume choices, but they all agreed that this one is an absolute winner.
Projection and longevity are moderate. Gender is strawberry siren.
