There is another way... / It's sad... / You deserve soooo much more attention!
Hello everyone,
today I would like to give you my honest opinion on "Shooting Stars - Emerald Star | XerJoff" in relatively few words - worth reading ;)
Many people talk about Erba Pura, Erba Gold or, for example, Kirkè Extrait de Parfum and don't get me wrong (!), if that's what someone wants, then that's what they'll get and if that appeals to someone... it's absolutely clear to me - why not !?
Personally, I don't get on with them (no chance) and ultimately that's perfectly ok. It's just that certain mix of synthetics and that "tempo - handkerchief" vibe that's always there at the start for me and about a week ago I got a bottle (finally - more on why later) and my expectations were..., let's call it limited...
But this fragrance showed me that there is another way, another beautiful and really high-quality way.
Where the Erba Pura was (for me!) a pure synthetic bomb, the "Shooting Stars - Emerald Star | XerJoff" is its counterpart, the real, the bearable, the beautiful and what I want!
The sillage is really good and pleasant and not as "overpowering" as the Erba Pura, which kills you and the durability was absurdly good for me, in the sense of 16h with the batch I had (19X).
It has a (combined) problem:
This fragrance is ONLY available "exclusively" at Harrods -_- which means that bottles are only available there and finding a trustworthy parfumo who has one and will give you something is the next problem - unfortunately there are extremely few to hardly ever or almost never good offers....
Sometimes there are moments when I don't think this is so stupid with the "exclusive", but here I see... , a natural exclusion and the probably massive success of a fragrance because...
If I only see Erba Pura + Erba Gold and know that we only have to be satisfied with that..., but I also know that there is the "Shooting Stars - Emerald Star | XerJoff" and this only as an "exclusive", then it is very difficult for me to see this as good...
Ua. Herbert Stricker said (several times) that Xerjoff wants to release more and more "exclusive" fragrances for the broad market. Let's see if and when this happens with the "Shooting Stars - Emerald Star | XerJoff".
And maybe in X years I'll be the one who said this first...
If I really wasn't convinced, I wouldn't recommend it to you!
