Declining Blues Club
This could be an interesting perfume since its inspiration club is a Blues one. But, i don't see any references to the golden age of Bluess, but maybe to the 80's blues era since this fragrance has typical shape of creations from this time. Unfortunately, this is not a well made shape, it seems the imitation of something classic on a tight budget project. Kind of Blue opens with a strong aldehidc aroma, one of those that makes of think of candles, and then quickly turn into a combination, roses, tuberoses and a background of strawberries/berries. This combination makes me think that it might have beta damascone, that was very used during the eighties and has all those nuances. I don't see any flower absolute here, the tuberose and rose accord doesn't hide at all their synthetic side (not a problem if it was well worked). Strangely, after this intense floral phase the fragrance disappear on skin after 2 hours. I don't know what goes here, but certainly i cannot smel.If this is the representation of blues club, certainly is not one on its glory days.
