Summer-Fresh Rose Fragrance

I have had English Rose by Yardley for about a year, maybe a year and a half.
Since I like "old-fashioned" floral scents and have a preference for roses - both as a fragrance and in the garden - I eventually came across this scent.

The fragrance did not disappoint me, and I got what I expected.
English Rose does not smell like English roses (which usually have a very sweet scent reminiscent of historical roses); rather, its scent reminds me of the aroma of tea hybrids.
A slight citrus note accompanies the roses. Magnolia scent joins in and fits well with it. I can also easily detect the blackcurrant.
Overall, the fragrance creates a rounded picture and feels natural.

I enjoy wearing this scent now in spring, and it also works very well in summer. I feel fresh and well-groomed with it. It actually suits every occasion, for work, leisure, going out.... I have never felt over-perfumed with it. I would place its longevity and sillage in the medium range.

I will definitely repurchase English Rose by Yardley. I have already used up a third of my 50 ml bottle, and a fragrance rarely achieves that with me within a year.

How nice to hear from you again!
The Yardleys are consistently charming and lovely fragrances that are also very affordable. I liked this scent too, although the older version was just a bit better in comparison.
