Fraîcheur Végétale de… Cèdre Bleu Yves Rocher 2004

cool and powdery-woody
I love the scent of cedar in general. Well, and I particularly like Blue Cedar! I simply cannot resist the scent of the wood from this majestic tree.
“Cedre Bleu” is a woody and very, very dry fragrance. It smells like the cedar wood shingles on our roof when they are damp or wet from the rain, and you have to like that. Everyone here who loves floral, sweet, and very feminine scents will not find anything appealing in this fragrance. Actually, I had ordered “Cedre Bleu” for my husband, but I also really enjoy smelling it on myself. At first, a very intense cloud of alcohol emerges, which quickly dissipates. Then comes this pure cedar scent. Somehow it reminds me a lot of Lanvin's “Oxygène,” a fragrance that I also really like, just without that aquatic note.
“Cedre Bleu” is made for hot days. The longevity is, since it is an Eau de Cologne, of course not very long, but in my eyes, it is quite acceptable.

I don't know if I would like it, but you definitely brought it closer to me in your description! Thanks!
