La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Électrique Yves Saint Laurent 2017

I find this an often misunderstood fragrance since one can't help to compare to its original and rightfully so since La Nuit de l'Homme casts a huge shadow however, judging it by its own merit it is a very nice scent and honestly I don't get why it gets so much hate.

My only complaint is regarding it's uniqueness. Eau Électrique follows a trend many other fragrances have already mastered and some in a better way.

All in all, Eau Électrique is a very good buy but far from ground breaking. It clearly went for an Eros vibe and honestly, I like it way more than Eros

Tried it today in London Luton Airport. To my nose it resembles the original La Nuit to some extent, however seems a bit fresher, with a certain bubble gum aspect (what a surprise..) in the opening and mid notes (not very prominent though). The sweetness level is pretty much the same as well. The problem with it; doesn't feel unique at all. It lacks character. When you smell it, it might give you the impression that you just mixed the 10 most popular fragrances for men and applied a new label on it. Performance seems ok though, as it's been 5 hours since applying and it's still noticeably there (as a skin scent).
In conclusion, i wouldn't buy it. La Nuit and La Nuit L'Intense seem to be much better choices if you are looking for a fragrance with more identity.

Generic smell, perfume based on few notes, according to my standards it is more feminine. After the opening, in which the apple prevails, vanilla is predominantly felt which covers the presumed central and base notes. It's another senseless product, to be fed to the masses who are attracted by the brand, by the bottle and who only expect others to feel it when they wear it.

Disclaimer, I've had this fragrance for about 6 years, so the scent could of changed by now.

A barbershop opening adjacent to La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Électrique with a drydown reminiscent of Eros Eau de Toilette making it versatile and an easy pick for any occasion.

Usually I'd want to describe how a certain fragrance makes me feel, but with this nothing comes to mind.

I had a bottle of this and used it quite a bit earlier this year. It was nice, but wasn't anything special. It had the sweet vanillic base and cardamom of regular LNDH but the opening was a dry mint and green apple. I have heard many people comparing it to Eros and I strongly disagree. They may share some similar notes, but they are extremely different in execution. To me, this honestly smells more like PDM Percival but sweeter.
