Airy light love - this is love

Normally I like the "Oriental". So direction 1001 nights and even more. But, I have to admit for me that this fragrance here is the 1002 night.
It should be a little mainstream for me. Not always the niche. So, I went out with a fresh mind and discovered this shimmering pink bottle. Zadig and Voltaire ---- hmmm very mainstream. But, don't hesitate! Spray! And there it was: The airy lightness of love. A sweet hint of marzipan and vanilla. But not too sweet. A breathed kiss on the hand.

n my mind I disappear into the time of the baroque. Powdery wigs, opulent high-necked dresses with ruffles and petticoats. Or even deep necklines of the ladies with high laced bosoms and tighter laced waist. Dim lighting. A harpsichord strums soft dance music. The gentlemen bow to the ladies and ask them to dance. And as they move, the light, powdery scent of vanilla and sandalwood wafts. Is it the powdered wigs? Or is it the opulent gowns?

Very well, I open my eyes, stand at the perfume rack, wrist rapturously at my nose. The saleswoman eyes me curiously and asks, "and"??

I answer her only "THIS IST LOVE" and float with my new fragrance to the cashier..

It could be love

I find this fragrance soft, caressing, even sweet as love...I smell violet and vanilla well in the first third of the fragrance, followed by sandalwood. Do I smell ginger? Not explicitly - perhaps it is well interwoven in the overall concept. The scent is a little declaration of love, hello ... it's Valentine's Day! I think a lot of women like it because it is gentle and totally ingratiating, like a powdery cloud into which you just let yourself fall. And then this candied violet flavor, I like that. Sure there is a sweetness coming to the surface but -so what - every now and then we girls need that too. An extremely tasty "candy" without calories, but it calms our sometimes so quick-tempered mind. A very modern fragrance that you certainly don't choose as a companion for your whole life, but it is allowed to come along. Bottle is original in color, catches the eye, prices like the other siblings. The name is a statement, right?!

Sweet, but very shallow

I received the fragrance as a sample and wore it throughout the day today. At first I thought it would surely be too sweet for me anyway, but after a quick test sniff, found it sweet but not too sweet-intrusive. I sprayed the entire tester, but the sillage was rather poor, as was the longevity. In the dry-down, unfortunately, there is only a shallow residual sweetness, but it seems rather stale to me. On my hair, the fragrance has held a little better and seems much fresher there. But honestly, there are comparable sweet-smelling hair care products from the drugstore

Nude variation of Just Rock

This is love is a nude variation of Just Rock!: a slightly diluted base of Just Rock with vanilla, wood and a touch of patchouli. Vanilla has a chocolaty tone here. At the beginning THis is love smells a bit chemical, then it gets better. The scent is light and transparent, but with good longevity: I could still feel it 12 hours later. Just Rock definitely has more character and is more recognizable. This is love, on the other hand, sounds a bit washed out and safe, it's unlikely to evoke a strong reaction. Pleasant, but for me it's not special enough to make me buy a bottle

Less is more

What "This is me" has too much, "This is love" unfortunately has too little. The fragrance is sweet, but still restrained. With me, the sweetness remains, shortly after spraying it smells briefly fruity, but indefinable. And fruits are not even listed in the fragrance pyramid? Hm. The projection isn't that special, though. Alright, I bought this fragrance on the cheap. However, the Zadiq & Voltaire fragrances all do not cost very much.
I only smell vanilla and sandalwood.
The fragrance does not change much, however, it fades quite quickly (after 2 hrs it is quite weak). Do not have to have, even for the money. Who, however, "This is me" has smelled too strong and penetrating / synthetic, should try with this quiet his luck. I think I'm just too old for this kind of sweet scents and the synthetics bother me a bit. This is still not me and also no love.
