"Sandy Roses"
The "fragrance pyramid" can never be complete! I think to myself as I spray it on. There is much more to it than what is written "on top." Initially, it is slightly "synthetic," but that quickly fades away.
The first thing that hits my nose is the bright, warm freshness of citrus fruits, paired with a bit of thyme and coriander. I would call it "substantially spicy." It takes some time for the warm rose to join in, along with new spices, possibly cinnamon and saffron lurking behind. The scent has a really "strong" projection, so it's better to apply it cautiously! And it has a lot of "power" as well, meaning it is quite "niche"-noticeable.
Later, some woods join in (NO OUD!), it should be cedar and cypress, with a pinch of musk rounding it off. Still, it smells "sandy," like coarser powder or fine sand. However, I can't quite say what causes this "sandiness." I suspect it is the blending ratios of its aromatic components that leave this impression. I particularly like the bottle of this fragrance, as its simplicity appears quite elegant. Here it holds true: "Less show, but much substance," noble restraint on the outside, unexpectedly rich content. A strong, multifaceted scent, very androgynous, that requires a bit of "courage," as it is not entirely "simple" ;-))
