Wintery Cold Pink Flambé - Gone in Minutes
With the onset of the cold season, I've dug out a few fragrances that, in my opinion, fit the autumn and winter. I haven't used Pink Flambé Winter much so far and have no memory of what to expect.
I really like the big sister Pink Flambé. I can smell a bit of the family resemblance here, but it's really only very subtle. Overall, I find it very difficult to describe the scent, as there unfortunately isn't much there to describe. The fragrance becomes very thin very quickly and is then hardly perceptible.
The listed notes are pear, praline, and violet. At the beginning, I perceive fruit but can't clearly identify pear. It is definitely not as sweet as the big sister Pink Flambé. A very pleasant, fruity-cold scent. Yes, it somehow fits winter, which is a positive aspect to note.
It's also a plus that violet doesn't come through. Violet is often the scent component that ruins fragrances for me and turns them into soapy yuck-monsters.
Violet doesn't come through also because the fragrance hardly goes beyond the top notes and then is already gone again. The sillage is really catastrophically poor from the very beginning. And the poor longevity further disqualifies the fragrance. Two points that cannot be criticized in the big sister Pink Flambé.
My overall verdict: I don't need this fragrance. I generally have no problem with scents that only last a short time, especially when they are so inexpensive, because then I just spray more often. But a fragrance that is hardly perceptible from the start and dissipates after minutes is, unfortunately, not something I can work with.
