Very decent cheapie .

Clearly inspired by ambre Narguile . So , a very sweet honey is what dominates here ; it could cloy a lot if it weren't because it doesn't have a hammer-like texture . Lasting wise is quite respectable though .

As in most perfumes the nuances and all of that are elusives , it requires a bit of imagination there isn't much roundness and depth usually , even less here being a 15 € perfume .

So , calling quietly to the fancy I could say this very sweet honey dessert includes some cinnamon , a fruity touch of apple and a slighty soaking in liquor . Moreover , let's accept there is a tobacco box some meters beyond .

As I think it happens in others Zara perfumes from this collection , I can notice a little fresh blast ( synthetic apple ? ) which confers variation to the main theme and plus that mass-perfume appeal which will be recognisable .

This doesn't rank bad at all considering the price , the ones expecting Tobacco Vanille performance or let's say a kind of naturalness from Ambre Narguile or Derviche ... they better off keep waiting . Neither I'd recommend it to those who have aforemention perfumes as their minimun standard , regardless of price .

I want all this stay clear because many people get hype , try perfumes and then they ended up dissapointed for not finding cheapies that can replace their niches .

I am praising a 15 € perfume , don't forget it please .

Zara Unspected fresh spicy is a good fragrance by Zara that is definitely unisex, I would say more on the female side than on the male side. Modern scent with sweet hints of cherry liqueur. Vanilla, cherry and some spices. More suitable for the cold season. I don't feel anything fresh. Pleasant sweetness on the skin, sensual and interesting. It doesn't last long. It is also cheap, 12.95 euros. Recommended!

Honey, I'm stoned.

Plenty of controversy surrounding this one, as reviews are fairly mixed. To me, UFS comes off strongly as a piercingly sweet honey liqueur with minute facets of dated cherry tobacco in the drydown. The spice is definitely not an authentic cinnamon and I have no idea where the sandalwood went... Although it feels rather hollow on its own, it layers really well with anything in need of some sweetening up. In fact, the drydown on my skin reminds me of a sucralose sweetened honey water that remains for a satisfyingly long time.

It took several wearings for me to finally get the strong boozy qualities in the opening, but they don't last. Instead, the dominant accord is an artificially spiced honey that somehow reminds me of the Christmas holidays (perhaps it's the scented decor, the marketplace or the drinking?). The closest approximation (and I mean that in a very generous way) is something along the lines of Oajan from Parfums de Marly, albeit far less complex, more synthetic and with absolutely no almondy goodness.

After about 30 minutes, the scent seems to split in two - retaining the honey but adding a somewhat dated plasticine-ish type aroma into the mix. Fortunately, if you can bear it for 2 hours, you'll be rewarded with the plasticine developing into a decent tobacco-esque note that adds a nice dryness to the sugary blend. But by that time, the projection is very weak, so you may be relegated to enjoying it as a purely solo affair. And if you're familiar with honey liqueurs, you're probably in good company. Eep. Guilty.

I won't lie, I was initially a little disappointed and bored with UFS at first (Mugler's Pure Havane being a far superior alternative), but it quickly found a place as a solid additive to the more spicy, ashy and smoky fragrances in my collection. In fact, when layered with Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille, it adds that extra bit of Unidentified Effing Sweetness in the base that tends to balance out the strong cloves. A poor UFS joke, but there you go. Anyway, although the longevity is quite good, projection is rather sad after an hour and a half - a little disappointing for something so bracingly sweet.

Overall, despite the fleeting associations with the holiday season, I find UFS to be a rather average release. The opening booziness is pleasant to be sure, and the nod to some of the more dated stuff is most welcome, but the lack of strength and overwhelming linear sweetness can get boring after a while. Nevertheless, if you're looking for an inexpensive sugar water or honey scent to drizzle onto your gourmands or into your spicy teas, I can think of nothing better. UFS - The honey glaze, that delays malaise, and fills your days with sunny rays. But ahh....only if you do 10 sprays. Cause, you know, it's a bit weak.

Cigars And Booze, A Perfect Match

I like to get to know colognes that receive controversial ratings, like this contended one, for instance. You may see, some people rated it from 0 to 2 and some others from 8 to 10. That's life, in matters of taste, there can be no disputes.

Unexpected Fresh Spicy comes approximately two years after the other two #Tobacco Collection's siblings, namely Intense Dark Exclusive and Rich Warm Addicted. Whiskey, tobacco, cinnamon, patchouli, sandalwood. Oh boy, this is impressive! A blast of goodness. It smells like bad intentions, bad decisions with a good time. Think rich fruit cake, delicious, served after dinner, and this cologne is brimming with honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and nutty flavors. It includes an artful painting that takes both of those distinctive notes and places thoughtful flourishes of booziness, spicy reinforcers, and a group of classic base note ingredients that come together into a smoky, warm, and sweet composite.

Unexpected Fresh Spicy welcomes you with a blast of boozy liqueur. It opens, including toasty notes from the oak and distinct aromas of candied fruit and golden syrup, rich, but still clean and precise, with an appealing nuttiness. It is a big-hitting bourbon sweetish tobacco, with broad brushstrokes of honey, cinnamon, countered by punchy, peppery notes, some numbing clove notes, and toasty oak. Right of the bat, the boozy accord present in the opening reminds me of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey. A blast of spices, mostly cinnamon, and a dash of honey soon join the fray, and I have to say it's very nice, an apple pie type of vibe. The boozy note is excellent within this composition and adds to the character of the scent. ZARA could have called this fragrance Unexpected Boozy Spicy as the freshness disappears not long after the opening, and the pleasant whiskey note lingers on throughout the life of the scent.

The heart beats around sweetish tobacco. I've never been enticed to smoke, but I adore the smell of tobacco. I like to smell unique, and I also love the aroma of tobacco and this one is different tobacco. This accord is less of mellow pipe tobacco though it retains the delectable almondy inflection of tonka. It's sweet bourbon tobacco mixed with flowers, herbs, spices, or fruits. Often when tobacco is a note in a fragrance, it smells nothing like it; this does. Broad strokes, it just feels like a dude smoking a pipe. Up close, and broken down: it's got a boozy bourbon accord. The tobacco is audacious, with a round woody whiskey note in the background that amps up the weed without taking the lead, played out over soapy musks instead of the classic sweet vanilla.

It goes on dusty, dark, boozy, there's a whiskey accord, and then dries down a bit spicy, woodsy. After an hour or two, the fragrance smells much more ambery, a wood-shot amber. A touch of amber and vanilla keep the scent from being too sharp.

It lasts half a day on me. It's a thick fragrance, but it stays within a few feet of my skin. The longevity is excellent, and the projection is large. It is not a subtle fragrance. It wears well in colder weather, cause the warmer it gets, the spicier it gets actually. It seems somewhat uncomplicated. Despite being dusty, it's still a very safe scent.
It is delicious smelling tobacco, the sweetish smell you get when you put your nose into a packet of Amphora Vintage Malt Whisky tobacco, it feels well done. I glad I got my bottle before the train gathers steam.
