Silent Woody Treasure
This wonderful little treasure has moved in with me to tell me my own story. I'll get to that later.
First, I need to relearn how to use it. The handling of the pipette and drops reminds me more of a pharmacy, and this fits the very first contact with the scent. Very alcoholic, somewhat smoky and medicinal, it comes across as woody. Then it reminds me of a lightly smoky old Grappa. However, much softer and more subtle. Mmmhhhh, it's really delicious!
Then, for the time being, not much happens with the scent progression. A soft, balsamic, somewhat unusual, gentle woody scent envelops me. This remains quite unchanged, giving me time to connect with it.
What impresses me the most is the completely novel experience of this scent(-being).
Usually, a fragrance takes me on a journey through memories and experiences, beautiful and unpleasant feelings, visual travels, etc. Here, something entirely new happens to me. It becomes quiet.
It becomes very quiet and incredibly pleasant around me. I have tried this several times now, and it is always the same silence that surrounds me. For me, a journey to my deepest essence begins here. And the scent of Buddha wood accompanies me there in calm presence.
I did not expect this. And I wonder about its practicality for everyday use. I have tested that as well. Here too, it is a calm, unobtrusive companion. Warm and balsamic, it envelops me during the daily hustle and bustle. Time and again, I catch a gentle whiff of it.
I do not want to simply call this scent a perfume. Because that usually highlights, covers, beautifies, or simply tells a story. Rather, I perceive it as a kind of balm that wraps around me and lets me be where I am right now......
About the whole context:
The scent is woody, leafy, beautiful.
The longevity is unexpectedly over 8 hours, given that it is such a gentle companion.
The sillage is enveloping, but still perceptible from a few meters away.
The bottle is very stylish and beautiful in glass. The pipette with the gold-plated plastic cap does not match the quality of this fragrance.
I really enjoy the beautiful, pleasant company of this balm nearby!!!

The woods are smooth, clear, and grippy like the handle of a good walking stick. BW is a relief from the overwhelming impressions of these days. It clarifies, soothes, and opens the senses to everything that’s coming.
Thank you, dear E., for sharing. I would have missed out on something wonderful!
I really enjoyed reading your comment.
