The Muse Breeze Zarkoperfume 2026

Over the weekend, I tried it in the shop with my partner, and it has been a topic of conversation ever since.
The original idea was to give her the regular The Muse, since she liked it very much as a sample, but I wanted to make sure and sprayed the The Muse Breeze alongside the original onto two test strips.

Despite their completely different compositions, both open very similarly, and for the first few minutes both smell "simply" of freshly washed laundry.

Then, however, the Breeze drifts away in the best possible sense. It breathes life into the scent of cleanliness, and what was previously just a sheet from the dry cleaner is now a white cloth hanging on the washing line in the garden early in the morning. While the regular Muse can come across as somewhat piercing, the new version is noticeably more relaxed. You really get the feeling that air has been added to the original Muse, transforming the "boring laundry detergent scent" into something distinctive.

For my partner, it was the iris note that made the difference; for me, it was the musk, which I am otherwise largely anosmic to. I was genuinely surprised by how intensely and softly this note can smell.

Unfortunately, by evening both fragrances had mostly disappeared after around 5 hours, and on skin it will probably go even faster. Nevertheless, a really lovely fragrance that can be worn for almost any occasion when you want to smell clean.

but so much more.

I have been looking for a fresh-laundry scent for a long time and haven't been successful so far. The usual suspects like Blanche Eau de Parfum , Lefko or even The Muse were far too piercing for me. It often felt as though they were fizzing away the mucous membranes in my nose.

Then along came The Muse Breeze. I sprayed it on and thought "Yeah, okay, detergent then", but then a great chain of associations and memories began in my head.
I thought of the feeling when you check into your hotel room at the beginning of a holiday and, as your first act, gleefully throw yourself onto the freshly made white bed and inhale the scent of the smooth, starched sheets.
I thought of the feeling when you have planned a spa day and are already looking forward to the upcoming relaxation and doing nothing, then slip into the fluffy white rental bathrobe and feel safe and cosy and unwind.
Then an image of my grandmother came to mind, putting the sun-dried towels, so wonderfully rough, away in the linen cupboard, where they smell so good.
Or the feeling when you put on the white blouse you had taken to the dry cleaners for the first time again.

I smell cleanliness, I smell freshness. I don't know whether the scent is more Persil or Ariel. It isn't a complex fragrance, I don't detect any development. Unfortunately, I miss the watermelon from the pyramid.
It starts like laundry detergent and then simply becomes a little softer and quieter.

I wondered whether I find it perfumey enough to keep it in my collection. It is, after all, more of a smell, a scent.
There is no disappointment intended here, because if a perfume manages to evoke so many comforting memories in me and makes me think of the things described above -and now the most important thing that all its relatives failed to do- WITHOUT annoying me with piercing synthetic notes, Yes, then it has earned a place.

People unfamiliar with perfume will probably think (if they think about it at all) that you have overdone it with the fabric softener, but that is simply what the bright, fresh, deeply clean cleanliness of white laundry is like.

Absolutely unisex. And the bottle is really pretty too.
