pretty chill
There’s something kind of cheap about this fragrance, but in a way that I like. It suits the kitschiness of the plastic cage holding the squat little bottle—feels very ’90s-coded. There’s also something kindof abrasive about it: it gives me a headache and people seem to sneeze when I wear it out in public. Not a dealbreaker, but something to notice.
Rose is the primary note, with bergamot coming through pretty prominently. I appreciate a rose that serves as texture or vibe as opposed to just straightup r-o-s-e. This is especially the case when that vibe is meant to elicit wetness or something steely, which I think is happening here. In general, it’s very cold and kind of reminds me of a pool that’s lit up while all the lights are out—unnatural but romantic.
