Absolutely unreal

The OG leaned more into the apple shampoo chypre vibe but the second edition has completely flipped the script. Zesty bergamot and grapefruit with a soft but powdery smoke sitting underneath. As this settles its incredibly nostalgic and reminds me of when I was a child visiting my grandmothers bungalow. The Drydown has that unmistakeable classic anomalous animalic warmth. A huge upgrade from the original and really shows the perfumers skills to take the same materials and make them even better. 10:10 accross the board no complaints

This is a magnificent continuation of the first release. The perfume has become even more naturalistic and vintage, with a wonderful base and excellent technical characteristics. A truly worthy continuation, but improved and refined. So far, this is one of my favorites from the brand. I highly recommend this to all fans of the brand, especially the first version of Devils Deceit. You will not be disappointed. My rating is 10/10.

Another beautiful creation from Anomalous Parfum. The opening is quite sharp and punchy but quickly mellows to reveal red apple, roses, and oud. As the dry down continues some sweet spice comes out and the ambergris and musks start to shine more. The projection and sillage are above average and I caught whiffs of it throughout the day. Longevity is stellar with at least 10 hours with some projection and a couple more as a skin scent. Possibly my favorite from the house so far.

This is my first artisanal perfume in my collection. It was a complete blind buy, and I have zero regret. I even feel bad I didn't buy a second bottle; it is that good. This is my first review ever and I want it to reflect how special this fragrance is to me.

Right after spraying, it hits you with bright burst of citrus and red apple, giving it a crisp opening, but there is clove lurking underneath, adding a dry warmth and spiciness that makes the freshness feel less innocent than it initially appears. It doesn't stay bright for long. Once it settles, the Bulgarian rose begins to emerge, but this is no gentle romantic rose. The combination of jasmine and tuberose adds a slightly powdery, spicy character and a faint sense of something old-fashioned. The whole composition is like a floral perfume kept in a wooden cabinet for a few decades.

I really start to like it in the drydown. Oakmoss, patchouli, oud, musk and civet take over gradually, making something earthy and slightly animalic. There is a slight amount of dirtiness to it, but it feels natural rather than forced. What surprised me is how smoothly everything comes together. Even with all those dark notes in the base, it never becomes a wall of oud or musk. The florals are still there, the citrus is still faintly present, and everything seems to sink into this mossy, warm, slightly wild skin scent. It has exceptional longevity far beyond anything I have tried before; it lasted around 36 hours on my skin. I wish I had more than 30ml of it. This is my special occasion fragrance.

This is a work of art, amazing scent, projection. Opened with fruit notes and quickly transitioned to a pleasant fresh fragrance.

This literally lasted over 15 hours on my skin.

Perfumer can compete with any of the big houses and give them run for their money.
