The opening is a disaster ,don't blind buy this
To start,I am glad I got a decant first and didn't waste my money on this
Personally,I find that the entire arabiyat sugar line is consisting of replicas/dupes of other perfumes. This one is quite similar to both 39 and rio radiance by SDJ,but the opening of this fragrance is catastrophic. The opening is why most people may say this smells bad,the drydown gets better imo.
What to expect? Yeah, you can find coconut but it isn't what all the paid influencers makr you believe. This honestly smells like sunscreen with a tint of coconut,I don't really think you could find any other occasion to wear this other than the beach.
A similar scent would also be waikiki beach coconut by bath n body works, but this is wayyy less sweeter and more sour ish
Overall disappointing mostly because it smells way too different from what is was advertised, but not horrible. Definitely not a safe blind buy.

Frito Feet coconut
If you are one of those people who picks a note of very dirty socks from coconut products, refrain! This is how this fragrance opens up. Another comparison could be dogs feet - for the dog owners out there. If you have enough patience to get through the initial "Frito Feet" phase, you might be able to enjoy notes of vanilla, butter, sugar and a freshly baked cupcakes, but without strawberries (misleading bottle and advertisement). The drydown consists of a mellow coconut and white florals - jasmine gives it a soapy twist.
It remains very sweet. The fragrance is quite cloying, so not sure about wearing it in a hot weather. Having said that, after an hour or so the scent is near identical with Sol De Janeiro'71 body mist, which makes me think of sunny Brazil that I never visited.
Summarising:
1. Consider the dirty socks opening
2. The listed heart notes should be swapped with base notes in the description
3. It is yet another shmoop for SDJ

Not really a safe blind buy
I personally smell cake more than the coconut notes. Kinda weird at first but as it dries down it’s really great and fresh. I also think it smells a tiny bit like lemon zest. The scent lasts literally all day long and I get a ton of compliments. I usually layer it with crème of clouds perfume and this combo is divine

Buttery Coconut with Sugar Syrup
Will the search for the perfect coconut scent ever end?
I have been chasing this ideal for years, but in the end, disappointment usually awaits.
My great wish is for a perfume that smells exactly like Raffaello.
But even Coconut Chiffon fails to fill this market gap.

Right from the first spray, you can tell that the journey is heading in a different direction.
Instead of creamy lightness, the scent starts with an almost artificial, roasted coconut that bathes in a generous portion of butter.
Shortly after, sugar syrup joins in.
Of this trio, the butter is the most prominent player for me.

This image remains in the dry down.
While theoretically vanilla is added, it is so shy that you almost have to search for it.
There is no trace of jasmine or musk; they probably only serve as anchors in the background to keep the sweetness in check.
Because one has to give it credit, despite the gourmand notes, the scent never becomes overwhelmingly sweet.

Towards the end, only a buttery coconut note remains on my skin, which strangely has an aftertaste of banana.

The performance is also disappointing.
The sillage is so weak that the scent quickly turns into a skin scent.
A classic cuddle scent for the home rather than a statement for outside.
Moreover, I find it to be significantly more feminine than I would have expected, despite its unisex classification.

Expectations were once again too high...
Coconut Chiffon is another fragrance from the "Arabiyat Sugar" line, of which I have already tested several.
Since I really like coconut in perfumes and have been searching for the perfect coconut scent for a long time, I was curious about what to expect.

The fragrance opens with a sweet coconut, which, however, does not smell creamy or milky as hoped, but instead comes across as extremely synthetic.
A dark, slight roasted note also brings a bitter nuance into play.
The coconut is accompanied by a lot of butter, giving it a cake-like touch.

What may sound delicious turns out to be a disappointment.
The fragrance never feels authentically edible or tasty.

As it develops further, jasmine joins in, making Coconut Chiffon subtly more floral. However, the floral sweetness remains in the background and only subtly resonates.

The fragrance does not undergo significant development.
Only in the drydown do vanilla and musk join in, giving it a powdery and soft nuance.
From this point on, I like the fragrance much better than at the beginning.

The longevity is very weak.
I can only perceive it for about 3 hours, during which it loses intensity significantly after 30 minutes and quickly becomes skin-close.

It is a unisex fragrance with a slight tendency towards the feminine.

In summary, I can say that Coconut Chiffon did not convince me.
It feels too artificial, and the individual components do not harmonize well together. Contrary to the expectations raised by the fragrance notes, it is not a delicious coconut gourmand as I had imagined and wished for.
Additionally, I occasionally perceive a plastic note that I find disturbing.

For this reason, I would not recommend it, as there are far better alternatives in this direction.
I am glad that I opted for a decant, and that is definitely where it will stay.

VERY sweet coconut with a distinct cake note and a slight tendency towards plastic. Personally, I find it too young and squeaky.

Smells exactly like the bottle looks. Fluffy cake with coconut cream, dusted with powdered sugar and decorated with praline.
