French Vanilla Latte Arabiyat Sugar 2025

Literally first thing that comes to my mind and nose when I spray this perfume is caramel and chocolate (maybe dark chocolate), which is surprising because when i saw notes, there is no caramel. Wow.

Would not recommend this fragrance for everyday unless you like catching peoples attention, it is kinda heavy and really, REALLY sweet. I could compare it to crème brulee with a hot dark chocolate next to it. Silage is strong, it catches easily on my skin and on my clothes, it even remains a bit in the air.

French Vanilla Latte is another candidate from the Arabiyat Sugar line, from which I have already tested several fragrances.
So far, none of the series has really convinced me, but this time the fragrance pyramid sounded very tempting.
Rum, Nutella, and coconut... all notes that I really like.

The scent starts with a delicious, intense chocolate note, to which a splash of rum immediately joins. This gives the opening a nice, slightly boozy nuance.
Lemon also resonates in the background, providing a gentle freshness.

However, I do not perceive Nutella at any point. For me, it is more of a slightly bitter dark chocolate.

As it develops, the chocolate and rum remain present, while coconut joins in. However, this does not come across as very authentic and has a slightly synthetic aftertaste.
The whole thing is accompanied by musk, which lets the fragrance fade away creamily.

Floral notes, as listed in the fragrance pyramid, are nowhere to be found here.
I do not find this disappointing at all, as in other fragrances from the line, they rather bothered me because they did not harmonize with the gourmand notes and seemed out of place.

The longevity is rather moderate, and unfortunately, the projection is very weak.
Already after half an hour, the scent becomes very close to the skin.

It is a unisex fragrance that tends neither towards the feminine nor the masculine.

In summary, French Vanilla Latte is one of the better fragrances from the Sugar line.
The chocolaty opening is successful and harmonizes well with the rum and coconut; however, for me, it is not a scent that one hasn't smelled before in some form.
As unfortunately with all the fragrances from this line that I have tested so far, the longevity leaves much to be desired. One does not enjoy the scent for long, as it loses intensity far too quickly.
Those who were hoping for a stronger performance will unfortunately be disappointed again.

Nutella in a perfume?
I had never thought of that before.
As someone who occasionally enjoys Nutella, I found the idea of smelling like chocolate cream immediately intriguing.

The opening is convincing, beautifully chocolatey, boozy, and sweet, but with a fresh twist from the lemon.
Rum and chocolate are immediately present.
Fortunately, I can't detect the cardamom at all.

In the dry down, the rum fades away quite quickly.
What remains is a combination of chocolate and lemon.
I consciously say chocolate here because it smells more like chocolate than authentic Nutella to me.

I don't pick up on any of the floral or woody nuances that are listed in the pyramid.
The scent sticks to its chocolate-lemon theme until the end.
Towards the end, the notes don't seem as authentic as they did at the beginning, but they remain recognizable.
In the background, there’s a very faint, minimal spiciness, but whether that’s the rum or the cardamom is hard to say, as the note is simply too weak.

Unfortunately, the performance is once again the sticking point.
The longevity is fine, but the sillage is really shy.
It almost seems like the entire Sugar line has a problem with projecting properly.

Conclusion:
Definitely unisex! (W60%/40%M) Anyone who enjoys the combination of chocolate and lemon can go for this, regardless of whether they are male or female.
You get a solid, quiet gourmand here, which unfortunately loses its strength a bit faster than one would wish.
