Aquatic Rose without a Twist
The Bosphorus is a truly beautiful and rounded fragrance.
To me, it smells like the essence of water and flower. The rose is clearly recognizable and actually feels very authentic. The impression of salty sea comes across quite well - for what a perfume can synthetically achieve. However, I struggle with the pine. There might be something slightly resinous there, but it’s only a hint.
Aside from that, this perfume has a certain barber shop flair for me. It reminds me of a fresh, elegant men's shave. This, however, without appearing too synthetic or clinical.
What distinguishes the scent in my opinion: It doesn’t aim too high. It is neither unnecessarily complex nor playful. The scent notes are nicely arranged and surprisingly linger in the air for a long time without changing their character. This makes it a truly uncomplicated, long-lasting companion for everyday life.
