Need More Booze
This hits you with booziness, almost too boozy like its vodka or moonshine, a clear alcohol that is too strong. Then the woods and spice start to play and make it cognac you expect and love. Saffron can be a difficult note to work with, it can smell like a band-aide. This fragrance gets the saffron formula just right because it enhances the spice in the cognac instead of being plasticky. I wish these notes would last longer because after 2 hours or so, the dry papyrus and oud take over and make this into a dry woody fragrance that you just kinda forget about.
The projection was more tame compared to other BTSO fragrances, which means it projections but you are not choking out your co-workers. The fragrance lasted all day, about 7 hours. A 50ml will cost you $205.
