A bright pear without surprises
Pear Pavlova opens very bright and juicy. Fans of pear in perfumery will really enjoy this fragrance. But for me, it’s practically a mono-perfume of perfumery pear with its slightly soapy, shampoo-like facets. There is no cloying gourmand sweetness in it. And those who are sensitive to screechy amberwoody materials will detect them here, though there is a very decent amount of them for longevity I suppose. Over time, the fragrance developed on me and revealed an alluring fruity musk, which creates a very beautiful and complimentary sillage. And again, as with Mezcal Chocolat, there’s nothing new or surprising, just a trendy fruity–shampoo scent that could easily be a crowd pleaser, many people will like it for its longevity, brightness, and fruitiness, especially for the spring-summer season.

She's 27
In a nutshell: a much cleaner / soapier lightweight fruity fragrance than the notes might suggest.

The smell of this reminds me of age 27 - still young, energetic, and vibrant, bursting with femininity and emerging maturity. The pear sits at all levels of this, and manifests as both bright & juicy. At some point though, a rather soapy jasmine takes over and what settles is a windswept farmer's market stand of ripe seasonal pear grounded by a skin-like musk.

Good for fans of JHAG: Pear Inc., and Jo Malone: English Pear & Freesia.

Decent longevity but wears close to the skin. Bonus points for a unique bottle / look!

Musky pear that lasts and lasts
This opening is like taking a big bite out of a fresh, juicy pear. It’s so refreshing! I’m obviously getting a lot of pear, but there’s also some white florals there and some sweet citrus as well. I think I’m also getting a hint of spiciness… that must be the pink peppercorn. There’s a teeny smidge of soapiness, which isn’t my favorite tone for a fragrance, but it’s definitely not overtaking the other notes. It has a really strong projection at this point as well.

It’s turned quite musky in the dry down, though it is a soft musk I don’t mind. Unfortunately, I’m only getting a slight hint of that lovely pear note now at almost 4 hours in. That said, projection is still quite strong.

6 hours on and it’s still projecting that soft musk. It looks like Pear Pavlova may have the same impressive longevity as Mezcal Chocolat.

It ultimately lasted about 9 hours which is great longevity. That said, musk isn’t my favorite note… even though this is a very soft note. I really wish the pear note had lasted longer. I’m going to save this sample for future consideration, but right now I won’t be investing in a full bottle.

This is pear!
If This Is Her! would have a cousin this will be. The fruity (specifically pear) version of the alluring This Is Her! profile.

Those two are not dupes by any means. But lie in a very special category: sweet but not gourmand, in a milky/whipped cream way, that is also clean (not sure how) and has a nuttyness on it.

Pear Pavlova is, as said, fruity forward. The pear here is sweet, ripped and a little synthetic, in the best way possible. The perfume is sweet, but just when it approaches the gourmand zone the creamy clean profile emerges and avoid it to become a sugary fruity perfume.

It is true that this perfume is quite juvenile, not a dark, serious or heavy perfume. Not very mature. But also interesting enough to be worn by everyone (I don't think perfumes fit a certain age but a certain situation).

This is a nice everyday profile. A bit sweet, a bit creamy, a bit shampoo-ey, a bit nutty. Not groundbreaking but interesting enough. An upgrade of those fruity-shampoo profiles, which I also enjoy.

Extraordinary Love
I love perfume. All price ranges, various scent notes. Many designer fragrances have smelled so similar lately that I quickly became bored. Even switching around my collection didn’t help anymore. Through a perfume influencer, I became aware of “Pear Pavlova” and was instantly hooked. Some research about the brand and the creation of this fragrance somehow excited me, and I ordered it blind. By the way, it is also possible to obtain samples from the brand very cheaply and then decide. I absolutely recommend taking some time to explore the creative process and the brand. The first sniff was wonderful. There it is - a fruity, fresh scent that stands out. It’s different. In a very beautiful and enchanting way. After a sparkling opening of pepper, a zesty and fresh pear follows with a warm, clean, and fluffy cloud in the background. The pepper dissipates quickly, while the pear remains distinctly present in every movement for about 4.5 hours. After that, a clean warmth is perceptible. A “mist circle” of about 1 meter. After many sunny hours of the day, perhaps also hustle and bustle, a hint of warmth from the pear lingers in the evening. Soft, close to the skin, intimate. I associate this residue, which by the way still dances around the clothing the next day, with an expensive shower gel. With you, pear cloud, I am very much looking forward to spring and summer.

Only wore it on my arm for now, and WOW, love it, seems to me more summer-y.
Wish the bottle was prettier but the juice matters more

Reminds me of herbal essence or fruitise shampoo, but with a very sweet and creamy layer to it. I cant imagine wearing this at 28 it feels real young

I don’t know y’all, it seemed way too sweet for me up front. But it does dry down more pleasantly.

It's very pear forward, so you have to like that note. More shampoo fresh than gourmand on me.

musk with musk and a hint of pear. it’s cute but nothing too crazy.

Smells like a better version of Sultry Pear by Zara, but nothing mindblowing. Joyful, sweet but very synthetic smell.

Strong and agressive alcohol at the begining, then sweet pear. It ends up in a commercial artificial vanilla smell. Reminds me of zara.

Pear dominant on the initial spray, and rather creamy as well. As it dries down it turns into a shampoo like smell. It's okay

You can definitely smell the prickly pear. Unfortunately, it leans too much towards a soapy-synthetic scent. Similar to shampoo.
