A Ray of Light Among Fresh Fragrances

Thanks to the lovely Parfumos SchnüFFleRR, I was able to test this wonderful scent that I might not have come across otherwise. What a stroke of luck, as this is a long-lasting yet always airy and fresh perfume that is excellently balanced.

Right after spraying, Silver Lining strikes me as a sparkling lemonade: citrusy and subtly fruity-sweet. The delicate ginger and mint add even more freshness to the mix, although the scent doesn’t have a distinctly green facet for me. It has something radiant about it, which leads me to conclude that there is a good amount of Hedion, but Iso E Super (Tetramethyl Acetyloctahydronaphthalenes) is definitely present in the ingredient list. I find a similar effect with Xerjoff’s Torino 21.

After approximately one to two hours, the citrus notes gradually fade, revealing an accord that smells so simple yet so good to me: Soft, bright woods blend with a mineral-fresh aquatic, while Silver Lining never loses its transparency and brightness. This accord slightly reminds me of the base of Louis Vuitton's L'Immensité, but I prefer David Heinsson's creation. One could also draw an aesthetic comparison to Geza Schön's Escentric Molecules, but none of them have convinced me as much.

This ray of light among fresh fragrances can be perceived throughout an entire workday with its light yet present sillage. And it also has a mood-lifting effect for me.

If ISO is well integrated, it doesn't bother me either.

I don't know the brand at all. Thanks for the introduction. Torino21 is not a bad reference. And I like ISO too.
