Back then 15 years ago on the 1st floor above the chocolaterie.
In my student days I lived in a small 1.5 room apartment with a balcony above a chocolaterie. The work began there from Monday - Saturday in the morning around 4:30 clock.
Not infrequently I was awakened half an hour later, by a light shaking of the cocoa conche.
Once turned over and again off into the realm of dreams...
Prelude: Tart dark chocolate (>80% cacao content), almost truffle-like, followed by a nice creaminess that gradually builds up.
Main note: The notes of the prelude become creamier & creamier, tonka bean now breaks through & adds a noble praline-like sweetness, which is skillfully rounded off by vanilla.
Conclusion: the first 10min smell like a time machine back to my old place of residence, the course & v.A. the main note exactly as in the stairwell that I ran down day-in, day-out then mostly around 8:30. Herb-chocolate-creamy-vanilla - Beautiful!
A great fragrance that is definitely unisex & almost knocks me over in the first 10min every time. Class!
The only downer: The shelf life, after 4, max. 5h the fun is unfortunately over, Nachsprühen is announced. Projection in the first 1-3h moderate, but never intrusive, then dropping.
Total: 8.5 (actually rather 7.5-8 but because of the sentimental value & the image in my head whenever I smell the, small upgrade: Deserved!)
