Straight up mezcal.

There's a quick spritz of citrus at the very top of this, but it quickly becomes a photo realistic mezcal. Extremely smoky and boozy. If there's neroli here, it's hiding from my nose. There is a bit of citrus that remains throughout, but very mildly. There's nothing wrong with this scent, and I love mezcal, but I don't necessarily need to smell like it.

I was lucky enough to test this for free before the brand revealed their line up so thanks to the LORE team for making me a tiny part of their birth
I will still be fair and critical in this review regardless of how I got the perfume.

With that out of the way...

"Disfruta" was a pleasant surprise. I am NOT a fan of citrus-heavy fragrances so out of all four samples this one was my least favorite based on first impressions, the neroli/orange scent hits you like a punch in the face, very sweet and tangy, which initially turned me off of it, but these past few weeks I've been revisiting it and really appreciating the fruitiness of the scent.

It's not necessarily a perfume i would wear, it smells more like a drink i would love to taste, a juicy bubbly passionfruit margarita that i would drink at a Cancun beach.

Overall it's still a really well done perfume, sweet, fruity and fresh, perfect for summers or a tropical getaway.

May work for some

I can see people who enjoy “strange” perfumes liking this because the smoky Mezcal note is intense. This smells like maybe pineapple or just tropical fruits sitting on a grill that had been used for smoking some bacon perhaps. I think the opening is kind of aggressive with the smoke touch being almost intolerable. The brand did a good job at trying to do something a bit different from a mass appealing market like Sephora, but this fragrance falls very flat after an hour or so. The smokiness dies down and you just end up with something that is sweet and fruity.

Mezcal Masterpiece

This smells like a ridiculously expensive cocktail at the coolest restaurant you've ever been to. The passionfruit note here fruity and tangy and lasts much longer than you'd expect it to. The mezcal is perfect, it's smokiness more akin to palo santo or fresh log fire than cigarette. Neroli flutters around in the top adding a touch of delicate sophistication, and the agave is just a lovely little kiss of sweetness to sell the fantasy. It easily lasts 6 hours, and it never cloys - even in the horrible Florida heat. I love this fragrance. It's the most unique in the whole lineup, and in my opinion it's crafted masterfully. Let it grow on you.

I wanted to love it...

This was my hands down favorite of the Lore line. Very nostalgic, 90s feel to it. Reminded me of nighttime bonfires at the beach when I was a teen.
Unfortunately, this did not live well on my skin and after trying to make it work, I'm just realizing it's not the scent for me.
Personally, what I found was that a lot of the Lore line would work better as fragrance sprays, rather than perfume as in the air it was strong and quite lovely. But for me just way too strong on my skin.
