Coffee for Valentine's Day
Let's start at the beginning: After I was allowed to try out some samples from Maison Tahité and was quite impressed, I had to get the Discovery Set. As the latest creations Vanilla Park and Arabican Rose were not included, I read a few reviews to decide whether I wanted to buy the missing two in the souk. After the scathing statements here about Arabican Rose, I decided not to. But as it always happens: the manufacturer added the samples of Arabican Rose and Vanilla Park to the regular Discovery Set. And what can I say? I'm glad they did!
For me, two notes are particularly prominent here: coffee and rose! I have rarely smelled a coffee fragrance that is so clearly coffee. This is served with a clearly perceptible rose. The coffee is by no means a shallow latte, it is black, intense and refined with spicy cardamom. After some time has passed, a cube of brown cane sugar is thrown into the cup.
This fragrance is not a candidate for me to buy, but only because I'm not a big coffee fan. Nevertheless, I really like smelling this fragrance and am glad to have had the opportunity to test it. If you love coffee and rose, you should really try it!
