Perfect rose, even without oud

Radical Rose starts unbelievably delicious, radiant, unifying and shows us the best sides of the rose. This rose stands in its full glory and wants to win everything and everyone for himself, from my point of view with success. This does not change in the course of the fragrance, however, the prelude is successfully pompous and knows how to impress.

Rose and saffron play the leading role in the first minutes. Artfully matched to each other, underpinned with a slight sweetness and a radiant aura, which you rarely find in this way in a fragrance. After a few minutes, the composition gathers and gradually gains depth without losing its initial essence. A little spice is added, as well as more and more a play of sweetness and warmth. Almost chocolaty seems this fragrance after some time, always in the present accompaniment of a beautiful rose, which still knows how to impress and enchant.

This fragrance is rose in perfection, without the need for oud as an accompaniment. Extravagant, striking and pleasing in every way. So I would like to describe this work to you. Clearly unisex wearable, also equipped with a durability and projection that leaves nothing to be desired

Comeback of a great diva

The curtain falls - thunderous applause for the leading actress.
No one would have thought her capable of that anymore. Her times are over. After recent more or less successful appearances at the side of the other big star- Oud- she was often taken by critics in the mangle.
But she didn't let that faze her. She already delivered a great performance in MFK's "Oud Satin Mood" again as a duet. But even then she did not meet with admiration everywhere: "Yes quite good but a little too loud, too sweet, too..." etc.
But now she puts another terrific turn and reinvents herself completely. No longer as everybody's darling but radical, unique and fascinating. The other actors play only
small supporting roles to let them shine all the more.
Skillfully she shows in this fragrance, what is actually all in her and why she is rightly the great diva of the perfume world.
And so there is nothing left for us but to take our hats off and bow before this impressive performance of the rose.

Rose - Flap the hundredth and last.

The rose... a beauty whose fragrance is probably one of the most widely used essences in the perfume world.
There are probably as many interpretations and combinations as there are petals on a flower. Certainly even more.

After a long search, many samples and almost coming to terms with the fact that the rose and I at the center of a fragrance are unlikely to become friends, I lost hope of finding "the" rose fragrance for me.

And then came Radical Rose. Radical and unexpected, in the form of a sample from a good friend, which has since become a bottle.

Rose fragrances in which the rose takes center stage have so far been either too sweet, too old-fashioned, too soapy or simply reminded me of mature, mink coat-wearing, wealthy ladies. So far, there has been nothing that I think suits a man in his thirties or that my nose likes.

Radical rose has nothing to do with any of this. The fragrance opens with a dark and, in my opinion, masculine rose. The opening is accompanied by a slightly sweet saffron note. A far cry from cotton candy and sticky. Pepper and labdanum, which contribute a soft spiciness, are omitted from the spice cabinet. The patchouli gives me that certain something here, which has a
dark chocolatey and rounds off the entire composition perfectly. Everything is perfectly interwoven and balanced without any disruptive factors.

The fragrance surrounds its wearer with a wonderful, warm aura that is neither too aggressive nor too reserved. Rather self-confident and elegant. Rose can be and stay like this for me!

Dream Rose

Let me start by saying I am not the biggest fan of rose forwarded fragrances but what Aurelien Guichard did here is really magical! Almost every rose fragrance leans a bit too feminine for me to actually wear it, but this is not the case with Radical Rose, definitely unisex and hyper-realistic and I dare to say my favorite rose themed fragrance I tried to this day. Overdose of Rose absolute with head turning spices like saffron and pepper berries essence from Jamaica. Rose here is not sparkling and bright, I am getting more of a darker vibe to it. The darkness here is very well highlighted with Indonesian patchouli essence and labdanum absolute. GORGEOUS, THICK AND BOLD! I need a full bottle of this ASAP!

I love the scent of roses. I can't walk past a rose bush in nature without smelling it. :(Unfortunately, the roses in Berlin smell far too rare :( I compared this fragrance here with Rose Essentielle: I realize that I do like the pepper in Radical Rose, which gives the fragrance a contour. It makes the rose seem masculine, active. It makes me realize what kind of rose fragrance I actually want: for the day - something activating. But I also realize now that Rose Essentielle is a relaxing fragrance for me. Also very nice.
