A niche version of a designer fragrance
I just received my bottle yesterday and I was pretty excited to wear it today so these are my first impressions therefore I won't comment on performance.
First thing you must know, this is a blue fragrance with all that it implies. As such it's not a fragrance that will stand out from the crowd, it's something that's been done before and it's not challenging or complex, on the other hand it's very versatile, wearable, mass appealing and agrees with pretty much every occasion and it's least likely to offend anyone.
I get a lot of pepper, fruity notes, wood and amber. The pepper is very intense and I really like what it does, the fruits and the sweetness give it some 'Invictus' feel that give some designer sensibilities. This is a designer kind of frag with a niche quality to it and makes sense to release a blue frag as your first fragrance so, let's see what comes out next.
I can't imagine anyone actually disliking this fragrance, I can see people not being blown by it as it's not the best in its category but it's certainly a good fragrance just not sure it's worth the price tag (I'm glad I got a 50% off promo).
