Santal Cream
Sandalwood often whispers, and I think the fig here helps to make a fuller statement. I can't pick out the fig on it's own, so I feel like it's there for supplementary, textural reasons—to add roundness and body. Cardamom and bergamot are also there in the opening, but I wouldn't call it spicy at all.
You know when you try to fold a plush knit sweater, but they don't stay folded since they're so thick? So they end up half-organized, tumbled together in a pile somewhere in the top of your closet. It reminds me of that — the warmth and familiarity of a knit sweater, but without the seasonal holiday association.
I don't think it's a dupe, K-version, or any sort of "take" on Santal 33. It's just another sandalwood fragrance.
