Creamy floral lotion that stays in your personal scent bubble
Several reviews on the fragrance's website (especially from people from the Caribbean) say it reminds them of the smell of their cousins and aunts getting ready to go out. So, I was really curious, especially since it has a tamarind note, which I've not seen before. It starts out smelling like a nice floral herbal shampoo. Then, it became rose bath crumble with lilies and musk. Where it seems to be settled is as a creamy floral lotion. In that, it reminds me a lot of Lily of the Valley by Acqua di Parma, but it's slightly sharper with distinctive lily notes. Maybe it's the tamarind and citrus (calamondin) giving it the sharpness? It's a very personal-level scent. I can smell it as I type but not out in the wind and heat. As I have a large decant of Lily of the Valley, this seems redundant, but it is a profile I crave occasionally at bed time.
