A good fragrance at the wrong time?
I was a little surprised when the first opinions about the fragrance arrived and a generally negative trend about the fragrance was established. From my point of view, it is the weakest Pana Dora fragrance I have tested so far, but I was also a huge fan of the other fragrances. I think it's a good fragrance that doesn't deserve a below-average rating. Everyone has their own opinion, I just hope that people don't go with the flow here.
And now to the fragrance itself:
The first impressions are quite confusing. You notice incense here, apple there and the exciting hazelnut notes elsewhere. All wonderful on their own, but the combination tends to confuse rather than harmonize. The top notes evaporate relatively quickly, leaving only traces of hazelnut and incense.
The fragrance then balances itself out and the rose takes over, accompanied by the smoothing ambrette. The fragrance is extremely exciting here and, in my opinion, has the potential to become a signature fragrance for both men and women.
The fragrance ends softly with gentle vanilla.
I can well imagine that the fragrance can be evaluated quite differently in the fall and winter, on cold and mild days. It is a little too heavy for summer.
The sillage and longevity are also relatively manageable. After about 5 hours, only a slight trace is perceptible.
For me, it remains a well-rounded, good fragrance that suits Pana Dora. It won't become my favorite, but I'm sure it will find its fans.
