A medieval vanilla found buried under resins and ambers amid loaves of bread and witchy herbs. Feels like vanilla you have to dig for in an endless mountain of rye bread that’s been baked with greens smothered on the outside in a witch’s kitchen. It’s far from sweet and yet has a charming wink of something vaguely sweet as you sit with it. It’s a vanilla for people who hate vanilla. A gourmand for people who don’t ever wanna smell edible. It’s ancient and raw, warm and rich, spiced in an old school way, and bready in the perfect homestead fashion. While it’s not for me, this is incredibly well done.
