Peccatum: the purification of soul.
As the name suggests in italian (peccato=sin), this is a deeply spiritual scent.
It evokes sin, but not in the classical sense of the term.
Rather, it represents a liberation from it.
Conceptually, it aims to recreate the entrance into purgatory and the purification of the soul.
The notes of the fragrance capture perfectly this concept: the leather, rose, and incense stand out immediately, accompanied by the saffron, tobacco and an earthy vetiver.
The combination of these notes creates a unique scent that is both complex and evocative at the same time..
In terms of longevity, the fragrance lasts 4/5 hours, depending on the skin. The sillage is moderate, making it an intimate fragrance; not too light but pleasant for people around you.
That being said, I recommend trying it because it's something truly unique and it doesn't remind me anything else.
P.S. This is unisex but in my opinion it's more for men.
