Intoxicating scent
Rarely does a fragrance inspire me to write a review, but this scent has blown me away.
Cacao Leaf is intoxicating, no other scent has played quite like this on my skin. The perfumer has outdone himself with this addicting fragrance.
The wear begins fresh and spicy, with a blend of earthy green, and a light citrus in the mix. Cacao leaf and black tea notes are present for most of the wear, along with a spicy, musky aspect. It’s almost reminiscent of a spiced cola, but not quite.
A base of cacao, creamy woods, amber, and sweet musk lingers late into the dry down. Very much a cool/cold weather scent, but can be pulled off during the spring as well.
Very strong projection for the first 3-4 hours. Easy 8-10 hour longevity. Very much looking forward to more of Runeford’s work!
