Communication douteuse

“Diane, If You Ever Get up This Way, That Cherry Pie Is Worth a Stop.”
This is how you do it. A damn fine fragrance.

As you could've guessed from the name, this scent is an homage to the late great one and only David Lynch, who was one of the most important and decisive figures in the life of the creator of this fragrance (according to the website description), and in my life as well. So, when I ordered a sample of Lynch, I was prepared to judge it by the highest standards I know. My final verdict: it is 10/10.

I also would never pass up a chance to try a cherry fragrance, but after trying Lynch, I doubt I need to continue my year-long quest for a perfect cherry scent. I found it.

On my skin, it opens with cloves and cherry pie, smoothed by jasmine. The cherry pie note is not as gourmand as I would have expected, and it stays throughout the wear, it's not just a top note. Once the resins and tobacco came in, I was in love... The forest accord is noticeable, and completes the fragrance for me.

Diane, I am eating a cherry pie by the sycamore trees, and the owls are not what they seem.

Fire walked a bit too much with me, I suppose
I am a big Lynch fan. I love Twin Peaks. I really hoped this could be THE ONE. Sadly it doesn't work on me, I don't even smell cherry pie. Just some accords of pine and some burnt resins and a lot of patchouli. Everybody seems to love it so I blame it on my skin, but it really doesn't work on me... Then again, the only Spiritica that worked on me for now is Leonarda. I can see the inspiration in the pyramid, and I really wish I could smell most of the notes but it smells like someone decide to commit an arson on the sycamore trees and nothing else...

Lynch
A bold and intoxicating composition, LYNCH is a fragrance that commands presence from the very first moment. It opens with a decadent burst of dark cherry and spiced sweetness, wrapped in the golden warmth of saffron and soft florals, creating an addictive, almost edible allure.nnAs it evolves, the heart reveals its true character, rich tobacco, smoky styrax, and deep resins intertwine with oud and myrrh, forming a luxurious, shadowy core that feels both mysterious and opulent. The base settles into a velvety blend of vanilla, woods, and benzoin, leaving behind a trail that is warm, sensual, and unforgettable.nnThis is not just a fragrance,it’s an experience. Its performance and projection are absolutely supernatural, filling the air with a powerful yet refined aura that lingers for hours on end. Even among high-end artisanal fragrances, LYNCH effortlessly rises above the rest, asserting itself as a true standout.nnAn extraordinary scent for those who appreciate depth, richness, and unapologetic intensity, nsimply put, a beast of a fragrance.

Astonishing Fragrance!
To start things of. David Lynch is one of my favorite directors and the scent captures him and his work insanely well. The fragrance is inspired by the famous show Twin Peaks.
It captures its woody and dark elements as well as some sweet and seductive notes.
The Opening starts very much Cherry Pie, as its know from the shows Diner. There is also a slightly Smokey note which reminds me of a forrest by night + clove and more spicy as well as fruity notes.
It translates into a very dark but somehow light/ floral perfume. The Night blooming Jasmine matches incredibly good with all the other heart notes.
As its fully dry down, I get an amazing resinous and mysterious fragrance with gourmand touches.
For everyone out there who always wanted to know how the location and emotions of Twin Peaks feel like. That’s it.
Admirable and overly complex fragrance which I really enjoy!

Thanks to Parfümerie Brückners new Store „Beyond“ in Munich which gave me a chance to get my nose on the whole brand :))

Lynch starts very synthetic and mothball-like with a blast of saffron, boozy cherry. Clove and resinous, oceanic drydown. Exhausting to wear

Intolerably synthetic, sweet and syrupy. Smells like a mildly mentholated vanilla-cherry syrup and nothing more. Abominable

Imagine you are in winter market drinking mulled wine, insanely nice dark cherry and rough clove, with amazingly well executed blend.

Saffron forward composition, not as heavy as the notes suggest, great sillage.

Cherry pie opening dries down to woods and spices. Not too gourmand after the opening.
