Superb aldehydic floral
Semi-Bespoke No. 4 is a limited-edition original blend Dua release from 2019 that quickly sold out, so I’m happy to have some of it. It’s primarily an aldehydic floral—sparkling, fresh, floral blend of citruses, aldehydes, and taif rose, blended excellently. It’s very easy to wear, versatile, and unusually pleasant, with the aldehydes and flowers in pleasant balance. It’s effervescent but not distractingly so, and not too stereotypically femininely floral, an excellent blend.
It’s quite strong, with a slightly spicy sharpness to that’s fostered by its high oil quantity, which I love, though it’s still overall more of a warm weather friendly fragrance that’s quite relaxing. It’s just strong and interesting enough to be quite versatile. It does make me think of the late summer, when it was released, and therefore when I first started wearing it.
It’s among my favorite Duas, and certainly among my very favorite fresh/warm weather Duas, up there with Vanilla Lemon Gelato, Flagship, and more recently, Pretiosum Vetiverum.
